The subjects have been selected from material covered in the second quarter of a three quarter introductory chemistry sequence at UC San Diego. The goal in this work is to use animation and multimedia to effectively present individual concepts. Thus, in much of what can be explored, several static images are used to build up to a computer animation illustrating details of the chemistry that are not easily made evident in the static two-dimensional world of the blackboard.
